Canton Dog Park. Two sections: one for large dogs, and one for smaller or older dogs. Baltimore.

Dog Park at Quiet Waters. Two large fenced areas: one for large dogs and one for small or elderly dogs. Annapolis.

Dog Beach at Downs Park. A dog beach only and not a dog park. Dogs can run off-leash at this Chesapeake Bay beach. Pasadena.

Columbia Dog Park. 2.7 acres divided into two fenced areas one for small and one for large dogs. Columbia.

Worthington Dog Park. 2.7 acres of off-leash play areas with separate sections for large and small dogs. Ellicott City.

Dr. Bruce Morley Dog Park. Two fenced-in areas: one for medium to larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. Laurel.

Wheaton Regional Park.  About one-half acre in size. Wheaton.

Dogs can play off leash at several nearby dog parks. Plans for adding more such dog parks are currently in the works in several counties. Most, if not all, of these dog parks have separate areas for larger and smaller (or older) dogs.

Note: New dog parks in Columbia are forthcoming! As of January 2013, proposals have been approved for a new Howard County dog park in Blandair Park, and a new Columbia Association dog park in the Harper’s Choice village. Stay tuned for details on progress!
